CLOTHING DRIVE
BRING CLOTHING, BOOKS, SHOES & OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO HELP END POVERTY
November 17th – 24th
You may have heard that the
East High Student Senate is hosting a drive in conjunction with Choice
Humanitarian – Lets End Poverty, to collect clothing, books and household items
to help end poverty around the world.
The drive is scheduled for
November 17th-24th (for clubs and teams only, the drive ends school
wide on the 21st). To maximize participation and build excitement
throughout the school, it has been decided that there will be a competition
between the clubs and sports teams to see who can collect the most bags.
To encourage Swim Team
participation for a donation of clothing, books, shoes or household items Coach
Cathy will give a make-up swim practice credit.
Bring your donations to any MORNING practice November 17-24 and deliver to Joslin Wright at the breakfast tables. She will collect your donation and make note, then you will receive the practice
credit.
We challenge all swimmers to
donate even if they don’t need extra participation credits to show swim team
spirit and school pride!
