February 8, 2015 -- State Swim Meet!!
Swimmers and Parents,
Congratulations State Team!!
We are at the end of the
season with the State swim meet next Friday and Saturday. How EXCITING!! Everyone is invited and encouraged to
attend to cheer on our state swimmers. Below is the team
schedule. See the UHSAA
schedule for more information.
Friday, Feb 13th
- 6:30 am Bus @ East (ALL swimmers invited to ride the bus; required for state team)
- 8:00 am Teams
are allowed on the deck. Hurry and grab a spot! Deck access is
controlled. Only swimmers with deck passes are allowed on the deck.
Everyone else is expected to be in the stands.
- 8:00 am Spectator tickets go on sale. COULD sell out! $8 for adults, $4 for students
NEW THIS YEAR: Tickets must be purchased at the BYU Smith Fieldhouse Ticket Office. The Smith Fieldhouse is found across the quad from the Richards Building Pool and the ticket booth is on the north side of the building. Spectators should purchase a ticket at the Smith Fieldhouse before standing in line at the Richards Building to enter the balcony.

- 10:00 am Meet begins: Medley Relay, 200 FR, 200 IM, 50 FR
Saturday, Feb 14th
- 12:00 pm Bus @

- 1:30 pm Teams allowed

The team will be going
to the Pizza Factory on University
Parkway in Provo
after Saturday’s meet to celebrate the meet and the season. All
swimmers and parents who want to attend need to let me (snjswanson@msn.com) know and pay the East
Treasurer $13.50 per person for dinner. The meal will include
drinks, salad, bread sticks and pizza. Remember, please reply to me (snjswanson@msn.com) with an RSVP by
Wednesday, February 11th.
